Designer Handbags Review

When you see the topic, some of you will laugh at me: are you crazy considering that a trash bag can make you stand out from the crowd? Actually, this time, it is really true. Today I came across a Louis Vuitton trash bag named Louis Vuitton Raindrop Besace. It can be yours for $1,960.

This ‘bag’ is named the Raindrop Besace because it’s made from coated canvas (read: raincoat material), and thus waterproof. It has a removable shoulder strap in case you want to actually carry it like a trash bag. It’s being described as “utilitarian” by the loonies that love anything and everything LV. (No offence loonies, I like LV too, but lets call a spade a spade).

What do you think about the design?? I like the concept behind the design: to be like no other handbag out! To be honest, I won’t spend so much money on such a single trash item. While, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, so I really want to know if you have intention to buy one. Just let me know.

We have seen models with big afro wigs and Louis Vuitton handbags in the First Look: Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 Show. I am deeply surprised by the bold look of these bags. Now, the iconic Victoria Beckham fashionably arrived at London Heathrow Airport, November 14 wearing a simple black tank/skinny jeans/high heels combo with a denim messenger bag with exaggerated tassles and fox tail from Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

I have never considered that these fabulous bags are bought by stars in such a short time. Victoria Beckham has jumped well ahead of the queue and literally bagged herself such a chic bag. Nevertheless, I absolutely love the bag since it walked out down the runway. I adore that tonal gradient colouring too, with pastel peach moving towards burnt orange – complete with LV’s signature mongram. By the way, she looked amazing with the new hair style.

I’m a person who like Louis Vuitton handbags and Louis Vuitton watches greatly. Now, there is something precious to add to the list: Haute Jewelry Collection named L’Ame Du Voyage(the soul of the trip). I’m also sure that the new collection is surely to mesmerize you.

The collection was made in collaboration with jewelry artist Lorenz Baumer and embodies the spirits of travelling, the phantoms of traveling memories. It connects Louis Vuitton’s travel heritage with  Baumer’s own penchant for going places, in fact he has lived in Bonn, Germany; Amman, Jordan; Montreal; and Tel Aviv. The pieces are truly exquisite and sophisticated. Elaborated designs integrated into chic materials and gemstones look absolutely impressive. I have never seen anything like this before. Perfect!

The collection consists of six sets, a one-of-a-kind necklace the focal point of each, with prices running up to $2.5 million. The theme of the collection is circles, which Baumer describes as a symbol of perfection. He also adds his mission is to help Vuitton be recognized, admired and respected as a jeweler. In fact, Louis Vuitton and he really created incredible pieces in terms of craftsmanship.

As for me, the Seville Set from this collection is one piece that caught my eyes. Named after the city in southern Spain, the Seville Set features red/pink colored precious stones and brilliant diamonds set in white and red gold. Designer Lorenz Baümer took inspiration from ruffles and polka dots and the feelings in between and those surrounding the idea of fluidity and grace to create this set. I have fallen in love with the white and red gold necklace which is set with Louis Vuitton diamonds, spinels, and pink sapphires. Besides the necklace, the Seville Set includes an equally stunning and matching brooch, a pair of earrings and 2 rings.

I’m sure celebrities will soon rock these pieces on the red carpet. Let’s just wait until they realize how stunning they can look wearing these on their amazing necks.
